§1 · Today · the logbook
Hours at the bench, measured — not remembered.
Every number on this page is computed on my machine from four kinds of timestamp: prompts to an AI assistant, commit times, files written, Claude Code session transcripts, and shell sessions. Points less than thirty minutes apart are one sitting, so waiting on a long run counts and a real break does not. Prompts and file contents never leave the machine — only project names and minutes do. Work on private projects is counted, and shown as “private work”.
